• 400g can organic chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons Bioglan chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons Bioglan Cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
  • 30g dark chocolate, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Put all ingredients except the chocolate into a food processor and process until combined and smooth.
  4. Add the chocolate and process to just break up.
  5. Spoon tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared tray and bake for 10-15 minutes or until just firm. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying with a cup of herbal tea.
