What is detoxification?

Detoxification is a natural process that occurs daily in the body.

Our liver works in two phases to breakdown toxins and then to help eliminate them safely from the body through our lymph, skin, liver, kidneys and bowels. The key to a good detox is to ensure both phases of the detoxification process are working at their optimum.

Overtime daily exposure to toxins from our environment, diet and lifestyle put strain on the body’s natural cleansing process. The body may struggle to eliminate toxins properly and we can begin to feel sluggish, tired, unable to think clearly and even feel a bit uneasy in the tummy; bloating, gas and constipation are all common.
